3D-Guided Surgery

3D-guided surgery or computer-guided surgery is used in implant dentistry. An implant location is determined using specific computer software, based on a 3D x-ray. This is then transferred to a lab to 3D print a guide that clips on the patients’ teeth to guide the implant into the exact same position as was planned in the software. This makes for a faster, safer and more efficient implant surgery.

Dental Implants
